JASH is a non-profit organization, founded in 2019, by a group of young and motivated individuals who saw a need for a cohesive community group that would provide local Jordanians with support and services, while also celebrating the rich culture of our country. Our organization includes both new and long-time residents of the Houston area.
Among JASH’s many goals are the promise to facilitate social gatherings for members of the community to connect and strengthen social ties with one another. Below is list of the short and long terms goals of our organization:
1.01 Unifying the goals of the Jordanian community by strengthening bridges of relations at various levels.
1.02 Introduce future generations to our unique culture and instill pride in their home country.
1.03 Respect religious and political differences and avoid any issues that may lead to conflicts between members.
1.04 Provide support for issues that Jordanians in Houston might face.
1.05 Providing support and assistance to new Jordanians in Houston.
1.06 Connect Jordanians who are seeking jobs with fellow Jordanians with established businesses.
1.07 Promote businesses owned by Jordanians in Houston
1.08 Establishing effective relationships with other organizations inside and outside of Houston.
1.09 Ensure regular social gatherings for Jordanians to strengthen social ties within the community
1.10 Represent the Jordanian community in Houston by being active members of the American society Facilitate participation in volunteer events and local activities to encourage Jordanians to be active members of the community.
